The fastest way to determine an existing Motor Starter is through the motor starter
NEMA Size found on the nameplate.
If nameplate data is faded or unavailable, (older nameplates are notorious for having time worn nameplate data) the
Manufacturer’s Name,
Horse Power Rating and
Catalog Number of the existing Motor Starters would be key factors in determining a suitable Motor Starter replacement.
